Why we travel this way

Asked something. Given more.

Most travel asks nothing of you. You arrive, you are handled, you leave with photographs. These journeys are built to ask something — a morning practice, a ceremony you did not grow up with, a conversation with someone whose tradition it actually is — and to give more back than they ask.

We go small: groups of twelve to sixteen, one host who has been there before you, and local hosts, cooks, weavers and guides who are paid properly and named. We go slowly: one base, not five hotels; mornings that are full and afternoons that are yours.

We are honest about money. Ninety percent of the journey is included in the price you see. Five percent of the profit stays in the place, with an organisation named on the page where you pay. And we are honest about intensity: every journey shows you, before you book, how hard it is on the body, how deep it goes, and how fast it moves.

What travellers say

I felt safe and comfortable from the very first moment I sent an email to Kristin. I had many fears that magically dissolved during this retreat. I learned that behind every fear, there's a gift waiting for us.
Asira · MettaMorphosis 2023
I have never experienced such connection and grace. This experience was indescribable and beyond every expectation I had.
A traveller · MettaMorphosis 2023
A good mix of classes, excursions, free time. Travel was easy, food and venue were great, the people even better. I feel like I have found my community.
